Tassie Sherman Death, Batavia Township, Clermont County, OH — A devastating three-vehicle collision on Tuesday afternoon resulted in the death of 51-year-old Tassie Sherman and left six others injured. The crash occurred around 2 p.m. at the intersection of State Route 32 and Herold Road. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the accident began when a Chevrolet Sonic, driven by an unnamed individual, was stopped at a stop sign on Herold Road. As the Sonic entered the intersection, it was struck on its side by an eastbound Lincoln Navigator traveling on State Route 32.
The force of the impact caused the Sonic to collide with a nearby Infiniti QX60, which was stopped northbound on Herold Road. Emergency responders arrived promptly at the scene, finding the Chevrolet Sonic severely damaged. One passenger in the Sonic, identified as Tassie Sherman, sustained fatal injuries and was transported to Clermont Mercy Hospital. She was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. Her sudden and untimely death has deeply affected her family and the local community. Another passenger in the Chevrolet Sonic, whose identity has not been released, suffered serious injuries and was rushed to UC Medical Center for urgent care. The driver of the Sonic, despite being involved in the severe collision, escaped with only minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
