Anne Aston Death: The community is grieving the passing of Anne Aston, a cherished figure known for her love of animals and her deep connection to nature. Anne touched the lives of many, and her sudden departure has left a profound impact on her family and friends. Close friend Caroline Lesley Byatt expressed her sorrow in a heartfelt social media post: “So on this date I have to say goodbye to my bestie of 30 years. No words, I’m not ready, but will be there. Love you Anne Aston, missing you already. Love you xxxx.” This message, along with countless others, reflects the deep affection and admiration that many held for Anne.
Anne’s funeral is scheduled for September 24th at 11:40 a.m. at Gornal Crematorium. In celebration of her vibrant spirit, her family has chosen to make the service a “colourful celebration” of her life. They have asked those attending to wear bright colors instead of traditional black to honor Anne’s joyful personality. After the service, a gathering will be held at The Forge pub, where friends and family will have the opportunity to come together and share their memories. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to The Cotswolds Farm Park, a place that Anne frequently visited with her family and held dear to her heart. The funds raised will go toward setting up a bench or another memorial in her name, giving her loved ones a lasting place to remember her.
A fundraiser organized by Bradleigh Aston has already raised £675 of its £700 goal, thanks to 31 generous donations. Among the contributors, Otto Barry donated £25, and an anonymous supporter gave £100, while Stacey Harrison was the first to donate £10. The outpouring of support from the community highlights the significant impact Anne had on those around her. Anne’s memory will live on through the legacy she leaves behind, and the memorial bench at The Cotswolds Farm Park will serve as a place for her loved ones to reflect on the joy she brought to their lives. Our deepest condolences go out to Anne’s family and friends. May they find peace in the cherished memories of their time together, and may Anne’s soul rest in eternal peace.
