Brodie Craswell Death – A collision between a motorcycle and a dump truck at the intersection of Garfield Street and Strawberry Lane resulted in the death of a man from Charlottetown who was 42 years old.
He was identified on social media by loved ones as Brodie Craswell.
At approximately 4:30 p.m. on Friday, the Charlottetown Fire Department and Island Emergency Medical Services responded to a call that was placed to them. During the approximately four hours that an accident reconstruction team was conducting their investigation, the road was closed.
The police have stated that they have not filed any charges, and the investigation is still ongoing.
A young motorcyclist, identified as 17-year-old Julian Drennan, died on Smith Road in Goshen Township, Clermont County.
According to a press release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSP), the fatal crash took place on Friday, just before 2 p.m. Julian Drennan was operating a 2003 Honda CBR600F motorcycle, heading northbound on Smith Road when he lost control of the vehicle.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the motorcycle veered off the right side of the roadway, struck a culvert, and overturned. The collision inflicted severe trauma on Drennan, leading to life-threatening injuries.
