Jacob Baldwin of Midlothian, Virginia, who was an Entrepreneurial Business Major at The University of Mississippi and the son of Renee Baldwin has tragically died. His mother made this known publicly on her Facebook page 3hrs ago on October 17, 2024. She has stated that he died from brain injuries he sustained from an assault. She has also requested that the person who inflicted her son with such injuries should be brought to justice. She did not leave any description of the assailant, but eyewitness are encouraged to bear witness to the occurrence of the incident as this would help the police investigate the incident properly. CCTV footages are also needed.

“…My son Jacob Baldwin died yesterday as a result of a fatal brain injury from an assault on him in downtown Richmond around 2:00 AM early Saturday morning. In an effort to raise awareness and media attention in order to help catch his assailant, we are holding a vigil for him tomorrow at 11 am near the site of the assault:
2800 block of West Marshall St on the north side of the street.
