We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Joe McDonald, a dedicated Crossing Guard and cherished community volunteer. Joe devoted many years of his life to serving our community, where he not only ensured the safety of our children as they crossed the streets but also took the time to mentor students and inspire them with his unwavering support.
In addition to his active participation in a variety of community programs, his dedication to creating a secure environment for families was a clear indication of the profound affection he felt for our neighbourhood. Everyone that Joe came into contact with was left with a deep and abiding impression due to his warm nature, generosity, and altruistic desire to helping others.
When we think about Joe, we think of the innumerable lives that he changed and the great impact that he had on our community. Everyone who had the privilege of knowing him will miss him terribly. During this trying time, we want his family and friends to know that they are in our thoughts and that we offer our condolences. Rest in peace, Joe; the legacy of compassion and service that you left behind will continue to live on in our hearts.
