It is with great sadness to announce the passing of sports broadcasting legend, Tony Ventrella. His death was confirmed on a post on facebook that says ” We’ve lost a sports broadcasting legend. He was a great mentor, my friend and loved by many. He had such a vibrant and positive personality. I’m sad to report that former KING5Seattle sports director Tony Ventrella passed away last night at the age of 80 with his family by his side. Tony had been battling cancer.
