Caroline Mhley La Grange IL Obituary, Death; 16-Year-Old Beloved Daughter Passed Away – Caroline Marie Mhley, a bright and beloved 16-year-old from La Grange, passed away, leaving her family and friends in deep sorrow. Caroline was the cherished daughter of Gavin and Colleen Mhley (née Custer) and a loving sister to Sean. She was adored by her grandparents, Cornel and Rita Mhley, and Russell and Mary Carol Custer. Caroline also held a special place in the hearts of her uncle Mark (Erin) Mhley, aunt Bridget (Conor) Howard, and her cousin Callum. Her furry companion, Ziggy, was a treasured part of her life, and Caroline was a devoted dog-sister to her precious pet.
Caroline’s passing has left a profound void in the lives of all who knew her. She will be remembered for her loving and kind-hearted nature, her close bond with her family, and the joy she brought to everyone around her.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 24, from 3 to 9 p.m. at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, located at 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. A Mass will take place at St. Cletus Church, 600 W. 55th St., La Grange, IL, on Friday, October 25, at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be private. The family and community come together to honor and celebrate Caroline’s life.
