Karen Dolnik Obituary North Caldwell, NJ; President of Dolnik Management Corp Dies at 45: Karen Lynne Dolnik, 45, of North Caldwell, NJ, passed away suddenly on October 18, 2024. Born and raised in West Caldwell, Karen had made North Caldwell her home for the past decade. A proud graduate of The Morristown Beard School (Class of 1997) and Lafayette College (2001), she dedicated her professional life to helping those less fortunate as the President of Dolnik Management Corp.
Karen was a devoted mother to her two beloved children, James (11) and Kennedy (9), who were the center of her world. Her vibrant spirit lit up every room she entered, and she was known for her infectious laughter and positivity. A passionate sports enthusiast, Karen cheered her children on from the sidelines, taking immense pride in their achievements—whether on the field, in the classroom, or through their creative endeavors.
Her legacy of love and support extended beyond her immediate family. Karen was preceded in death by her cherished father, James H. Dolnik, and is survived by her loving mother, Mary C. Dolnik. She leaves behind her sisters, Tricia (John) Mac Evoy and Kelly (Brian) Mazzei, as well as her brother, Tim (Jessi) Dolnik. Karen was also a doting aunt to her 13 nieces and nephews: Jack, Finn, Molly, Kylie, William, Emma Clare, Patrick, Charlie, Cassi, Hattie, Andrew, John, and Nicholas. Her light and warmth will continue to shine through the countless memories they share.
Karen’s warmth and generosity touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by her numerous lifelong friends and acquaintances, all of whom she considered family.
Friends and relatives are invited to visit the family on Thursday, October 24, 2024, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Paul Ippolito-Dancy Memorial, 9 Smull Avenue, Caldwell, NJ. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Notre Dame Church in North Caldwell. Karen’s spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she loved and served.
