Sebastian Brown Death: The identity of the motorcyclist who was killed in a hit-and-run accident that occurred in Granada Hills on Thursday night has been revealed by officials with the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office. Sebastian Brown, 21, from Newhall, was riding a motorcycle at a high rate of speed going eastbound on Devonshire Street, approaching Louise Avenue, when he failed to stop at a red stop light and collided with another vehicle going northbound on Louise Avenue, according to a news release issued by the Los Angeles Police Department. Brown died from traumatic injuries as a result of the accident.
After being thrown from the motorcycle onto the pavement, Brown was then trapped by a white SUV and then a white sedan. Brown was unable to escape the collision. Not only did the drivers of both vehicles fail to stop, but they also failed to identify themselves or provide assistance, as stated in the press release. Paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department pronounced Brown dead at the scene of the incident. In accordance with the news release, the Valley Traffic Detectives of the Los Angeles Police Department are conducting an investigation into the tragic hit-and-run traffic mishap.
They are also offering a reward of fifty thousand dollars to anyone who can provide information that leads to the identity, apprehension, and conviction of the culprits.
