Nathan Garcia of Los Angeles, California, student of California State University has sadly died. On Tuesday, county authorities were able to identify the seventeen-year-old who was slain after he was struck and killed by a vehicle on the Harbour (110) Freeway in South Los Angeles.
Nathan Garcia, 17, was recognized as the pedestrian injured in the accident by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner’s office. Garcia was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. It was approximately 3:50 in the am on Sunday when the collision took place on the southbound freeway at West Century Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.
At 4:42 in the morning, a SigAlert was deployed, which resulted in the closure of the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the southbound freeway for a period of at least two hours.
