Lamarcus Alston Obituary, Death; – A 45-year-old man has been confirmed as the victim of a late-night shooting that occurred in east Durham last week. On Monday, the Durham police named Lamarcus Alston as the individual who was fatally shot on E. Lawson Street on November 27.
Officers responded to a report of a gunshot wound at approximately 10:43 p.m. in the 1200 block of E. Lawson Street. Upon their arrival, authorities discovered Alston, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. He was declared dead at the scene. Investigators are actively working to uncover the details surrounding the shooting, and the investigation remains ongoing, according to police.
