Lewann M Shrewsberry Obituary, Death; – West Virginia State Police reported that a woman lost her life in an accident that occurred on Interstate 77 southbound.
As per the information provided by WVSP, the incident took place on December 3, when a woman was traveling south on I-77. Upon nearing the entrance ramp at mile marker 42, she collided with a WV Parkways Authority Courtesy Patrol Vehicle that was stationary in the left lane, directing traffic due to a prior accident.
According to WVSP, the impact caused the woman’s vehicle to cross the highway, where it was subsequently struck by a commercial truck also traveling south.
WVSP noted that the WV Parkway Authority vehicle had its emergency lights and arrow board activated at the time of the incident. The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
