Born on September 17, 1972, in Owen Sound, Ontario, Jason grew up with a strong sense of purpose. His academic journey began at the University of Waterloo, where he earned a BA in Political Science and Business Studies, an early indication of his passion for both law and business. His intellectual curiosity led him to Western University, where he completed his law degree in 2000.
With his expertise in legal operations and a passion for innovation, Jason went on to make significant contributions to the legal field, including working with major law firms, startups, and businesses across North America and Europe. But Jason was more than just a professional powerhouse. He was a devoted family man, a loving husband to his wife Wendy and father to their daughter Julia.
His relationships with his parents, Bob and Dale Moyse, and his sister Carrie were marked by deep love and unwavering support. Jason’s bond with his extended family and friends was equally strong, and his sense of humor and generosity made him the life of every gathering. At PwC Canada, where he began working in 2022, Jason continued to push boundaries and provide invaluable support to his clients and colleagues.
His approach to legal operations, emphasizing transformation and innovation, earned him recognition as a thought leader in his field. Although his time at PwC was tragically short, his impact on the firm and the people he worked with will never be forgotten. Outside of work, Jason had a wide range of passions that demonstrated his zest for life.
He was an avid sports enthusiast, enjoying everything from hockey and lacrosse to marathons and golf. His love for nature and adventure was equally evident in his motorcycle rides and commitment to fitness. In remembering Jason, we celebrate not just a brilliant mind, but a kind heart and a man who lived every moment with joy, curiosity, and a deep love for his family and the world around him. He will be sorely missed, but his legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched.
