Danny Ponce Vargas, Obituary, Death; – A motorcyclist killed Monday following two crashes near a Menifee intersection was identified by the coroner as a Hemet resident. Danny Ponce Vargas, 28, was pronounced dead at the scene following the wrecks reported at approximately 4 a.m. at Highway 74 and Menifee Road.
According to the Menifee Police Department, its investigators determined that the motorcyclist “was involved in two separate collisions,” the first involving a sedan and the second a pickup truck.
“Both drivers remained on scene and were cooperative throughout the investigation. Impairment is not a factor at this time,” Menifee police reported. “The cause of the collisions is still under investigation.”
