Natalie Ann Acevedo Obituary, Death; – A 23-year-old individual has been charged with the murder of a 22-year-old woman in September 2023 in the Jacksonville Heights vicinity, as reported by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
On Wednesday, law enforcement officials announced the apprehension of Anthony Gutierrez in connection with the shooting death of Natalie Ann Acevedo. On September 14, 2023, officers from the JSO responded to a local park located on Old Middleburg Road South after a citizen reported observing a vehicle idling in the park, which appeared to have bullet impacts on the driver’s side.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered Acevedo deceased inside the vehicle, according to the JSO. Subsequent investigations revealed that she had succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds, with an autopsy confirming the cause of death as homicide.
