Suspect Christopher Jamal Wickliff identified in Liberty, Texas, death of Christopher Lynn Pilgreen
Christopher Lynn Pilgreen, 37, of Hull, Texas, was tragically killed outside Outlaw Jacks bar on Beaumont Avenue in Liberty late Thursday night. Police responded to a 911 call about a possible shooting just before midnight on December 12 and found Pilgreen lying face down on the concrete. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following an investigation, Liberty Police Department identified Christopher Jamal Wickliff as a suspect. An arrest warrant for murder, a first-degree felony, was issued against him by Judge Chap Cain of the 253rd District Court. Additionally, Crystal Nicole Salinas was charged with failure to report a felony.
A mugshot of Wickliff, dated 2021, was released, though an updated image and a photo of Salinas remain unavailable.
