Tragedy struck on Friday when Kaitlin Skywalkerr Dutoit, the co-owner of Ink Snob Tattoo in Glendale, passed away in a motorcycle accident involving a truck at the intersection of 51st Avenue and Union Hills Drive. The fatal incident happened on Friday, December 20, 2024.
According to Glendale police, the crash occurred when a male truck driver veered off his lane, colliding with Dutoit’s motorcycle. The impact was severe, and Dutoit was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the truck driver, and the cause of the lane deviation is still under investigation.
The Glendale Police Department has issued a call for witnesses who may have seen the crash or have information that could assist in the investigation. “We urge anyone who was in the area at the time or who has relevant dashcam footage to come forward. Your information could be crucial,” a spokesperson said.
Dutoit was well-known in the local community as a talented tattoo artist and co-owner of Ink Snob Tattoo, a popular studio that has earned a reputation for its artistry and professionalism. Friends, colleagues, and clients have expressed their grief and shared tributes on social media, highlighting her creative spirit and the impact she had on those around her.
Kaitlin Dutoit’s mom Kimberly DuToit confirmed the incident on Facebook: “My daughter Kaitlin Dutoit was killed on her bike (motorcycle) on 51st Ave and Union Hills by a male driving truck turned into her while she was on her way to her client tattoo appointment.
