Floyd John Franklin Obituary, Death; – A man was fatally shot at his residence in Quinton on Friday, as reported by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
At approximately 8:15 p.m. on Friday, deputies responded to a call regarding a shooting in the 2700 block of McCarty Town Road. Upon their arrival, they found an adult male with a gunshot wound. Emergency services from Copeland Fire and Rescue declared the individual deceased at the scene. The victim has been identified as 64-year-old Floyd John Franklin.
The alleged perpetrator has been named as 32-year-old Alexander Nalley, who has been charged with Intentional Murder and is being held without bond at the Jefferson County Jail.
