Kuldeep Kumar Obituary, Death; – Four men from Indiana have been arrested in connection with the death of a man who had been missing for nearly two months, whose decomposed remains were discovered in a wooded area of New Jersey, as announced by authorities on Sunday.
An investigation commenced after hunters located the body of a man in an advanced state of decomposition on December 14.nThe Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office identified the deceased as Kuldeep Kumar, a 35-year-old from India, and revealed the arrests of four individuals. The victim’s family in Ozone Park, Queens, had reported him missing on October 26, according to officials.
The suspects—Sourav Kumar, 23, Gaurav Singh, 27, Nirmal Singh, 30, and Gurdeep Singh, 22—all hailing from Greenwood, Indiana, have been charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder, as stated by the prosecutor’s office.
An examination conducted by the Ocean County Medical Examiner’s Office concluded that Kuldeep Kumar’s death was a homicide resulting from multiple gunshot wounds to the chest.
Various law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, the NYPD, and the City of Greenwood Police Department in Indiana, collaborated with New Jersey authorities to establish that the alleged perpetrators acted in concert to carry out the murder of Kuldeep Kumar, according to the prosecutor’s office.
The suspects were apprehended on Friday and are currently held at Johnson County Jail in Franklin, Indiana, awaiting extradition to New Jersey. Authorities have not disclosed any information regarding the motive for the crime or the relationship among the suspects
