Jordan Proctor Obituary, Death; – Authorities have identified the man who was shot and killed by deputies in Charles County last weekend as 30-year-old Jordan Proctor, a resident of White Plains, Maryland.
The incident took place on Friday, December 20, in a residential area on Tottenham Drive. At approximately 3 p.m., officers responded to a 911 call from an individual alleging that he had been kidnapped and sexually assaulted.
The call was traced to Proctor’s mobile phone. Upon their arrival, officers reported observing a masked individual inside the residence. Despite multiple commands to surrender, the individual disregarded the officers’ instructions and proceeded into an open garage.
According to the sheriff’s office, the individual, later confirmed to be Proctor, claimed to be armed and made threats, adopting a shooting stance before the three deputies fired their weapons. Proctor was incapacitated by the gunfire and was subsequently transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
