Predeceased by her loving husbands, Pete Doyle and Willie Crowe, her son Tom, sisters Betty and Nell, and granddaughter Ann, Ann’s life was one filled with resilience, love, and faith. Her memory will continue to be cherished by those who held her dear, including her devoted daughters Kathleen, Mary, Annette, and Theresa, and her treasured brothers James, Tom, Sam, and John, as well as her sisters Molly, Breda, Peggy, and Kate.
Ann’s love knew no bounds, and her family was at the heart of everything she did. Her grandchildren—John, Katie, Jenny, Kevin, and Sarah—along with her great-grandchildren, were a constant source of pride and joy in her life. She adored her extended family, including her sons-in-law, nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of friends.
Ann was a woman of remarkable strength and warmth. Those who had the privilege of knowing her recall her unwavering kindness, her infectious smile, and her ability to make everyone feel welcome. She created a legacy of love, generosity, and service that will continue to inspire her family and community for generations.
Her home was always filled with laughter, stories, and the aroma of home-cooked meals, as she delighted in gathering her loved ones together. Ann had an innate ability to make everyone feel valued and heard, a quality that endeared her to all who crossed her path.
The people of Bauck and beyond will gather to pay their respects at Cooney’s Funeral Home in New Ross (Y34 FK44) on Tuesday, December 31, from 4 PM to 7 PM. Friends and family will come together in shared grief and gratitude for a life well-lived.
On Wednesday, January 1, Ann will be honored with a Funeral Mass at St. Brendan’s Church in Drummond, beginning at 11 AM. This will be a moment to reflect on her deep faith and commitment to the church and community that were central to her life. Following the Mass, Ann will be laid to rest in St. Mullins Cemetery, Co. Carlow, a place that holds deep significance for her and her family.
Ann’s passing is a profound loss for her family, but it is also a reminder of the beauty of a life lived in service to others. Her gentle spirit, unwavering faith, and love for her family are her lasting gifts to those she leaves behind.
