Mrs. Juanita Range, age 94, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2025, in Crawfordville, Florida. A beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, Juanita’s life was a beautiful testament to love, resilience, and devotion to family.
Born to Curtis and May Bentley, Juanita was raised with values that guided her throughout her life. She built a loving family with her late husband, Samuel L. Range, and together they created a legacy of love and unity that spans generations. Known for her nurturing spirit and unyielding strength, Juanita was the cornerstone of her family, always offering wisdom, kindness, and unwavering support.
Juanita is survived by a large and loving family who will forever cherish her memory. She leaves behind her sons, Samuel D. Range (wife Deanna), Gerald D. Range (wife Nona), and Stephen M. Range (wife Debbie). Her grandchildren—Christopher D. Range (wife Sabrina), Melissa Woodcock (husband Bill), Angel Watson (husband Eddie), Dustin Range, Chris Range (wife Jessica), and Brittany Range—carry forward her legacy of love and compassion. Juanita’s impact is also felt deeply by her 14 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, three surviving sisters, one brother, and countless nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Samuel L. Range; her parents, Curtis and May Bentley; her son, Forest Range; her daughter-in-law, Deloris Range; her in-laws, Fayette and Julia Range; and three sisters and one brother.
Juanita’s life was one of quiet grace and steadfast devotion. Her love for her family and her ability to bring people together will be remembered for generations. She found joy in the simple moments of life, whether it was time spent with her grandchildren, sharing stories with her siblings, or providing comfort and guidance to those she loved.
Funeral arrangements are currently incomplete, and service details will be announced as soon as possible. The Mundy Funeral Home in Jamestown is honored to oversee arrangements for Mrs. Juanita Range, ensuring her life is celebrated with the dignity and love she so richly deserves.
