John was essential in the growth and success of Mecum Auctions, acting as a consignment director and becoming the distinctive voice of Mecum since our televised debut in 2008. His commitment to presenting our company in the greatest light was more than just a job; it was his life’s mission.
John established the benchmark for perfection, requiring accuracy, precision, and the greatest quality in all we did. He wasn’t just a part of Mecum Auctions; he lived and breathed the company’s ethos every day.
Our family has a mentor, a legend, and a Mecum cornerstone.
Thank you! John, Mecum Auctions, said in a Facebook post.
My heart is broken today. John Kraman, my TV colleague and friend of 17 years, died this night. He is praying for his wife, Christine Reimer Kraman, and their extended family. Another post read, “Godspeed, Professor!”
We regret to inform you of the passing of John Kraman, Mecum Auctions’ voice and a dear friend.
For many years, John was a friend to us and many vehicle enthusiasts, always willing to share his knowledge and experience.
The void left by John’s passing can never be filled, and I believe that we speak for everyone who ever had the honor of spending time with him.
Right now, John’s family and all of our family members at Mecum Auctions are in our thoughts.
