On January 17, 2025, a tragic incident occurred in Norwood Green, Southall, UK, where a woman in her 40s was found unresponsive in Southall Park on Green Drive. Emergency services were called to the scene around 06:00 GMT, but despite their efforts, the woman was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The Metropolitan Police have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death, which is currently being treated as unexplained. A post-mortem examination was conducted on January 18 at Fulham Mortuary; however, it did not establish a definitive cause of death.
Authorities are now awaiting the results of toxicology tests to provide further insights. Detectives from the West Area Command Unit are leading the inquiry and have appealed to the public for assistance.
They are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who was in or near Southall Park between 22:30 GMT on January 16 and 01:30 GMT on January 17.
Detective Inspector Sukh Kanwar stated, “Our thoughts and sympathies go out to the family, and my officers are working to establish the circumstances leading up to the death of their loved one.”

In a bid to gather more information, the police have released images of two women captured on CCTV in South Road, Southall, at approximately 23:00 GMT on January 16.
These individuals are considered key witnesses who may hold vital information about the events leading up to the woman’s death. The authorities have clarified that these women are sought solely as witnesses and not as suspects.
Norwood Green, the area where the incident occurred, is a residential locality within the London Borough of Ealing.
