Amelia McEvoy Obituary, Death; State police in York have announced the identification of one witness in a collision that resulted in the death of a 20-year-old woman on January 17, as well as injuries to another individual.
Authorities report that they have located the driver of a white SUV who was present at the scene of the accident but departed prior to the arrival of state police. Upon the arrival of first responders, they discovered Amelia McEvoy, a front seat passenger, deceased at the location.
The investigation into the incident indicated that the suspect vehicle was traveling north when it merged into the southbound lane to overtake another vehicle. The driver of the other car involved was forced to veer off the road to prevent a collision, ultimately crashing into a tree on the passenger side, as stated by troopers.
