It is with a heavy heart and a profound sense of loss that we share the passing of Marylise Mills, a beloved daughter, sister, friend, and member of the Greer, South Carolina community, Marylise was welcomed into Heaven, where she was completely healed of her heart condition and the cancer that had affected her for so long. While we did not expect her to leave us in this way, we take solace in the belief that God, in His infinite love and mercy, has called her Home, and she is now whole again, free from pain and suffering.
The grief felt by all who knew Marylise is immeasurable, as she touched so many lives with her kindness, warmth, and unwavering spirit. Though her time on earth was far too short, Marylise’s impact was profound. Marylise’s family was her rock, and she will be deeply missed by each of them.
In addition to her immediate family, Marylise had a wide circle of loved ones who were blessed to know her. Her extended family, including Misty Dear and Rob and their two daughters, Jamie Moon and Heather and their two daughters, her Papa Roger Moon, her Nanny Elizabeth Tooley (Janice), and her other grandparents, Nelson and Joy, were all a source of joy and support for Marylise throughout her life. She was a cherished member of this close-knit family, and the love she received from them is something that will continue to sustain them in the days to come.
