A devastating wrong-way crash early Sunday morning claimed the lives of two drivers near US Highway 90 and Loop 410.
Authorities have now identified one of the victims as 43-year-old Thomas Cuellar, also known as Tommy Aaron.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, the fatal collision occurred at approximately 5:05 a.m. when a man in his 40s, driving a black pickup truck, was traveling in the wrong direction. The truck collided head-on with a gray SUV, leading to catastrophic results.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but, unfortunately, both drivers were pronounced dead on impact due to the severity of the crash. Investigators are still working to determine whether alcohol or other factors contributed to the tragic accident.
