It is with a heavy heart that we share the unexpected passing of Kyle and Jackie’s oldest son Gavin. The McNabb family will need financial support during this extremely difficult time to help cover funeral expenses and other costs that may arise. Any amount is appreciated. We cannot express all the love and support. It has honestly been what has gotten us through the last week.
Our sweet baby, Gavin, took his life this past Tuesday. We are left with a horrible hole that we know will never be filled.One thing everyone recognizes about Gavin was his generous heart. He would help anyone, whether it was a smile, a joke, or a helping hand. In an effort to honor what we know would be his last wishes, we moved through the process of organ and tissue donation. This meant that he needed to be on life support much longer than we would have liked.
Yesterday, 1/26/25, his soul passed to heaven. We found out last night he was able to donate his heart, lungs, each kidney, and his liver to others who desperately needed them. His tissue donation will positively impact others lives, including restoring sight, in 75-90 others.Gavin is our hero. We will always have questions that have no answers, but we know this for sure. Our baby was kind, loving, and giving, Jackie Mcnabb said via facebook post.
