More information about a fatal house fire in Apalachin in late January has been released.
According to New York State Police, the female victim has been identified as 85-year-old Patricia Pendergast.
The fire broke just after 1 a.m. on Wednesday, January 29th at 457 Main Street in Apalachin. The Apalachin Fire Department says when they arrived, they began working to find and rescue Pendergast.
Despite life-saving interventions, she passed away from her injuries at the hospital.
