It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we report the passing of Noah Lee Tripp, a bright and promising 16-year-old from Ashburn, Georgia, who tragically passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025. Noah, born on August 13, 2008, in Cordele, Georgia, to Scotty Lee Tripp and Martha Lee Hayslip, was an extraordinary young man whose infectious personality and love for life left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Noah was a freshman at the Georgia School for the Deaf in Cave Spring, where he thrived in his studies and formed close bonds with his classmates and teachers. A true outdoorsman at heart, Noah had an unwavering passion for hunting and fishing, activities that brought him immense joy. Among his favorite pastimes was catfish noodling, a thrilling and adventurous pursuit that allowed him to connect with nature in a way that was uniquely his. Noah had an adventurous spirit that led him to many new experiences, including a deep love for bull riding. Though he had limited opportunities to pursue this passion, he proudly considered himself a cowboy, and his enthusiasm for life shone through in every endeavor he undertook.
Noah’s communication skills were another testament to his resilience and unique personality. While Noah was fluent in American Sign Language, he also developed his own unique way of communicating with his family and friends. This personal language was an expression of his individuality and his close connection with those he loved most. His bond with his family, especially his father, was incredibly special. Noah and his dad, Scotty, were best friends, and their deep connection was evident to anyone who spent time around them. It was clear that Noah was a daddy’s boy, and the two of them shared countless memories that will forever be cherished.
Beyond his love for the outdoors and his close family connections, Noah had an ability to make friends wherever he went. He was the type of person who never met a stranger and left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. Whether he was bonding with classmates at school or spending time with family, Noah’s vibrant energy and loving nature touched all those around him. His warm heart, adventurous spirit, and infectious laughter will be remembered by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. His loss has left a void that can never be filled, and his family and friends will miss him dearly.
Noah is survived by his devoted father, Scotty Lee Tripp of Ashburn; his mother, Martha Lee Hayslip of Warwick; his brothers, Taylor (Alana) Tripp of Sylvester, Austin Lee Creech of Baxley, and Cody Tripp of Ohio; his sister, Haiden Elise (Logan) Harper of Warwick; his maternal grandmother, Ruth Hayslip of Warwick; his nephew, Greyson Alexander Harper; his niece, Azlynn Lee-Ann Tripp; as well as a host of cousins and extended family members.
