The incident occurred just after 6 a.m. near Dale Evans Parkway, leaving a community in mourning and a family grappling with an unimaginable loss.
According to the coroner’s report, Rojas was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash involved a white 2019 Audi Q5, which veered off the roadway and rolled over multiple times before coming to rest in a desert area far from the freeway. California Highway Patrol (CHP) records indicate the vehicle rolled over seven times, leaving it severely damaged.
