Authorities confirmed that McBride tragically lost his life in a multi-vehicle crash late Saturday night at the intersection of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Whittier Street.
According to police reports, McBride was driving a black Jeep Wrangler when he attempted to pass a gray Chrysler 300. The Chrysler’s driver made a sudden left turn, leading to a violent collision. The driver of the Chrysler fled the scene but later turned himself in to authorities.
