The Miss France family is in deep mourning after the tragic loss of Charline Leray, former Miss Brittany 2006, who passed away at the young age of 38. Her untimely death has left a profound void, not only among her family and close friends but also in the hearts of her countless fans who knew her as a radiant and full-of-life figure. Charline, who made her mark during her participation in the prestigious Miss France contest in 2007, was the embodiment of youth, promise, and an indomitable spirit. Her beauty, grace, and charisma made her stand out in a crowd, but it was her warm personality and unwavering commitment to the people around her that made her unforgettable.

Born and raised in the village of Lusanger, located in the Loire-Atlantique region, Charline was instilled with the values of solidarity, perseverance, and a deep love for her neighbors. These values shaped her character and guided her journey in life. After being crowned Miss Brittany in 2006, Charline went on to participate in the national Miss France competition, where although she didn’t make it to the finals, she captured the hearts of everyone who watched. Her radiant smile, natural charisma, and eloquent presence left a lasting impression on the Miss France family. Her confidence on stage, combined with her passion for literature and the arts, made her a beloved figure within the community.

After her participation in Miss France, Charline chose to pursue a career in education, where she quickly became known for her dedication, positivity, and ability to inspire her students. Her warmth and energy were apparent in everything she did. As a teacher, Charline was more than just an educator—she was a mentor, someone who instilled not only knowledge but also important life lessons in the hearts of her pupils. Outside the classroom, Charline also played an important role in the prestigious Tour de France, where her knack for bringing people together once again shone through. She became known for her ability to light up any room she walked into, leaving an imprint on all those who had the privilege of working with her.

Charline’s death has sent shockwaves not only through her family but also through the entire Miss France community. Her passing was deeply felt, and tributes began pouring in from across the country, with many remembering Charline not only for her beauty but also for the incredible joy she brought to everyone’s lives. The Miss France organization shared a heartfelt message, honoring her spirit: “The Miss France family and the Miss big family want to pay tribute to Charline Leray, Miss Brittany 2006. She embodied joy and positivity, which accompanied her throughout her fight against illness. Our thoughts go out to all her family, friends, and little boy.”

Among the many heartfelt tributes, one particularly moving message came from Cindy Fabre, Miss France 2005. Cindy, who referred to Charline as “our Cha-Cha,” spoke of her as someone who had left an indelible mark on all who knew her with her infectious laughter and joie de vivre. Cindy highlighted Charline’s courageous fight against the illness that eventually took her life, noting how she faced the challenges with an optimism and a smile that never wavered, even during the darkest moments. Charline’s unwavering strength and positive attitude in the face of such hardship will remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Charline’s legacy goes beyond her work as a model and a public figure. She leaves behind a son, Gabin, whom she cherished above all else. Her love for her child was a central part of her life, and even as she battled illness, she remained an incredibly devoted mother. Her family, including her mother, was a constant source of strength and inspiration to her throughout her fight, and they were by her side until the very end. Charline’s battle was one of resilience and determination, and her story will continue to inspire those who knew her.

Charline’s death marks the loss of a remarkable woman who embodied the beauty in all its forms—both inside and out. She lived a life filled with kindness, generosity, and a fierce love for her family and those around her. Her laughter, strength, and determination will be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to have known her. The Miss France family, her colleagues, and everyone who worked with her will continue to honor her memory and ensure that the light she brought into the world continues to shine.

In the days following Charline’s passing, plans are being made for a memorial to celebrate her life and honor her legacy. This will be an opportunity for all those who loved her to come together and share their memories, offer support to her family, and pay tribute to the extraordinary woman she was. Charline’s spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched. Though her physical presence may be gone, the impact she made on those around her will never fade.

Charline Leray’s passing serves as a powerful reminder of the fleeting nature of life and the importance of cherishing every moment. While we mourn the loss of this beautiful and vibrant soul, we are also reminded of the incredible strength and resilience she demonstrated in her life and in her battle against illness. Her story is one of inspiration, and her legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched.

Rest in peace, Charline. Your light will never dim, and your memory will be carried forward by those who loved you. You will forever be missed, and your beautiful spirit will continue to inspire all of us who were fortunate enough to know you.
