According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the accident happened shortly after 6:30 p.m. when Compton, who was riding his motorcycle eastbound on NE 175th Street, collided with a sedan traveling southbound on NE 110th Avenue Road. Preliminary investigations indicate that the driver of the sedan, who has not been publicly identified, entered the intersection, reportedly failing to yield the right of way.
