The Newfoundland community is mourning the heartbreaking and unexpected passing of Justin Jennings, affectionately known as “Juice” to friends and loved ones

A proud graduate of Queen Elizabeth Regional High School, Justin passed away in 2025, leaving behind family, friends, and a community shaken by the sudden loss of a young man known for his loyalty, warmth, and unforgettable spirit.

Justin was more than just a familiar face—he was a brother, a friend, a protector, and a kind soul who touched countless lives in ways both big and small.

Known for his quick smile, contagious energy, and deep loyalty to those he cared about, Juice was someone who always showed up—whether that meant offering a helping hand, cracking a joke to lift someone’s spirits, or standing by friends in hard times.

The news of Justin’s death came as a devastating shock. His family, especially his sister Nikki, has received an outpouring of condolences from those who knew him in different chapters of his life. In a message shared online, Nikki wrote:

“For those of you who want more information about Justin Jennings (AJ or Juice) or want to contribute somehow (pictures, memories, etc.), you can contact me here on Facebook. I’m his sister, for those of you who don’t know. Thank you, everyone, for your condolences—it means a lot to the family.”

These words reflect the deep pain felt by Justin’s loved ones, as well as the strength of the bonds he formed throughout his life.

Justin’s impact was wide-reaching. From school hallways at Queen Elizabeth to time spent with friends and acquaintances in challenging circumstances, he left behind a mark that people remember with gratitude and love. One particularly emotional tribute came from someone who had known Justin during a difficult chapter in life:

“RIP Justin Jennings, AKA Juice. We didn’t know each other very long or very well, but you took care of me like I was your little brother when we were in the pen together. I’m so sorry to hear you’re gone, brother. You’ll always be remembered and never forgotten. Rest up high with the angels, my brother.”

It’s messages like this that show the kind of man Justin was—someone who could offer protection and brotherhood even in the toughest places. His loyalty and heart didn’t waver, even under the harshest conditions.

Justin Jennings was someone who carried his pain quietly but gave his joy freely. Whether you knew him as AJ, Juice, or simply Justin, chances are you experienced his generosity, his humor, and his fierce sense of family. He was proud of where he came from and even prouder of the people he called his own.

In the days ahead, friends and family plan to honor Justin’s memory through photos, stories, and moments shared together. As they gather to remember him, one thing will be certain—Justin’s spirit, his love, and his presence will not be forgotten.

His sudden departure is a heartbreaking reminder of how fragile life can be. But in mourning his passing, the community also celebrates the love he gave, the protection he offered, and the memories that now live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
