It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kimberly K. Bradley, a beloved member of the Hopewell team, who passed away on July 29, 2025, at the age of 61. Kim, who had touched countless lives during her nearly 40 years of service with Hopewell Federal Credit Union, passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side. Our hearts go out to Kim’s family during this difficult time of grief.

    What Happened

Kimberly was born on September 20, 1963, in Newark, OH, to George N. and Judith M. (Goff) Bates. She graduated from Heath High School in 1981 and later dedicated nearly four decades of her life to Hopewell FCU, where she retired as operations administrative assistant. Throughout her career, Kim was known for her dedication, warm heart, and unwavering commitment to her colleagues and the community.

    Who Was Kimberly K. Bradley?

Kimberly, or “Kim,” was not only an esteemed professional but also a deeply loved family member and friend. Her love for her family was apparent to all who knew her, particularly her daughters and grandchildren. Kim cherished every moment spent with them, especially enjoying time with her grandchildren. She was passionate about traveling, often going on trips with her sisters, and creating lasting memories with her loved ones.

Her colleagues at Hopewell FCU and friends recall her kindness, her dedication, and the sense of community she fostered during her time at the credit union. Kim’s professional life was a testament to her integrity, work ethic, and the care she gave to everyone around her.

    Family and Legacy

Kim is survived by her loving daughters, Kelsey (Ryan) Hite and Emalee (Rylee) Kelly; grandchildren Delilah Hite and Marlowe Kelly; her sisters Pam (Mike) Hughes, Mandy (Junior) Rector, and Jennifer (Shawn) McDonald; as well as her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jack and Beverly Bradley; brother-in-law Jack (Beverly) Bradley; sisters-in-law Kristi Bradley and Judi Bradley; aunt Stephanie Goff; four nieces, two nephews, and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends who were like family.

Kim was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Bradley, who had been a beloved part of her life. His passing left a hole in her heart, but Kim continued to live her life with grace, love, and strength, surrounded by her loved ones.

    Service Information

The family will receive friends from 3:30-6:00 p.m. on Monday, August 4, 2025, at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, located at 985 N. 21st St., Newark. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m., with Jarrod Kelly officiating.

    Final Tribute

Kim’s passing is a great loss to her family, friends, and the entire Hopewell FCU community. Her legacy of love, dedication, and warmth will continue to live on in the memories she created with everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Kim’s family thanks all who have shown their love and support during this time, and they ask that her memory be honored through acts of kindness, just as Kim would have done.

Rest in peace, Kim. You will be deeply missed, but your spirit will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved you.
