The Acton Police Department is urgently seeking the public’s assistance in locating 62-year-old John Aiello, who has been reported missing after failing to return from a trip to Augusta, Maine. John was last spoken to on Sunday, September 7, 2025, and was expected to return home the following day, Monday, September 8, 2025. Unfortunately, he never arrived, and concerns for his safety are growing. It is believed that he was last in the Westford, Massachusetts area on September 8.

John Aiello, a resident of Acton, Massachusetts, went missing after a trip to Augusta, Maine. He was last heard from on September 7, 2025, and was expected home the following day, but he did not return as planned. Authorities have traced his last known location to Westford, Massachusetts, on September 8, and efforts are underway to locate him and ensure his safety.

John is described as a white male, 5’8″ tall, weighing around 160 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing jeans and a black T-shirt with the logo “Acton Home Repair.” He was driving a white Ford Transit Van, marked with Acton Home Repair and carrying Massachusetts commercial registration W92694. A photo of the van has been released to assist in locating both John and his vehicle.

    Reactions

Friends, family, and community members have expressed deep concern for John’s well-being. His sudden disappearance has left loved ones searching for answers, and local authorities are asking residents across Massachusetts, Maine, and neighboring states to remain vigilant.

“John is such an important part of the Acton community,” said a close friend. “We’re all praying for his safe return, and we urge anyone who may have seen anything to come forward.”

    What’s Next

The Acton Police Department is asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of John Aiello or his white Ford Transit van to immediately contact them at 978-929-7711. Even the smallest piece of information could help bring John home safely.
