It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we share the passing of Sherry Main, a beloved resident of Acton, Maine, and a respected leader in the real estate community. As the Broker and Owner of Town & Country Realty, Sherry was more than just a professional—she was a trusted advisor, a mentor, and a cherished friend to many. Her passing leaves a significant void not only in the hearts of those who knew her personally but also across the communities she proudly served.

    What Happened

Originally from Rochester, New Hampshire, Sherry made Acton her home, where she built a life rooted in hard work, dedication, and genuine care for others. Over the years, she became a well-known and admired figure in the region’s real estate market. Her clients often spoke of her professionalism, integrity, and tireless commitment to helping families find not just houses, but homes. Sherry’s ability to connect with people was unmatched—she brought warmth and authenticity to every interaction.

In addition to her professional success, Sherry was a devoted wife to Patrick Main and a deeply valued member of her community. She was known for her kind heart, strong spirit, and her readiness to lend a helping hand whenever it was needed. Whether volunteering her time, supporting local causes, or simply being there for friends and neighbors, Sherry made a lasting impact on those around her.

    Reactions

Sherry’s passing is a tremendous loss, not only to her family, colleagues, and clients but also to the entire community that benefited from her generosity and leadership. “Sherry’s presence was a gift to everyone she met,” shared a colleague. “She had a way of making people feel welcome and valued. Her leadership was always defined by grace, humility, and a tireless work ethic.”

Patrick, Sherry’s husband, expressed the deep grief of the family, “Sherry’s love and dedication to her family, her work, and her community were unmatched. She made a difference in so many lives, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.”

    What’s Next

To Patrick and the extended Main family, we extend our deepest and most sincere condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. May you find comfort in knowing how widely loved and respected Sherry was, and how enduring her legacy will be.

Sherry Main’s contributions will be remembered not just for her accomplishments but for her compassion, her strength, and the countless lives she touched along the way. Her work in real estate and her leadership in the community will leave an indelible mark for years to come.

    Closing Line

Sherry will be deeply missed and forever honored. May her memory continue to inspire us all.
