It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Lawrence Fino, our beloved Senior Director, esteemed colleague, and dear friend. Mr. Fino passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of excellence, integrity, and compassion that will forever remain at the heart of C. Fino & Sons.

    What Happened

Lawrence Fino, a longtime pillar of C. Fino & Sons, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy that has touched the hearts of colleagues, friends, and clients alike. Throughout his career, Lawrence’s leadership, work ethic, and compassion defined not only the success of the company but also the kind of person he was. His passing marks the end of an era for the business, but his memory and values will continue to guide those who carry forward the legacy he built.

    Reactions

Lawrence was not just a leader, but a mentor, guide, and friend to many. His deep commitment to the family business, coupled with his pursuit of excellence, set a standard that many sought to emulate. His colleagues remember him as a man of exceptional character, humility, and kindness. He led by example, building lasting relationships with those around him, and mentoring countless individuals along the way.

“Lawrence was not only a senior director to us, but he was also a father figure, a friend, and a constant source of support,” said a close colleague. “He showed us the true meaning of hard work and dedication, always putting people before profits.”

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Lawrence was deeply loved by his family. His daughter, Romina, whom he adored, was the light of his life. To her, Lawrence was not just a father but also an unwavering pillar of love, guidance, and wisdom. His devotion to his family was clear to everyone who knew him, and his love for his wife and children was the foundation of his character.

    What’s Next

The funeral for Mr. Lawrence Fino will take place on Monday, 15th September 2025, at 9:30 AM at St. Joseph Parish Church, Msida, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said. This will be an opportunity for all who knew and loved Lawrence to honor his memory and celebrate his remarkable life.

In recognition of his contributions to the company and the community, all showrooms and offices of C. Fino & Sons will be closed on that day as a mark of respect.

To Romina and the entire Fino family, we extend our deepest condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. We stand together in mourning, remembering Lawrence’s legacy of love, integrity, and leadership.

This is a developing story. We will update this article as more information becomes available.

Rest in peace, Mr. Fino. Your spirit, values, and vision will continue to inspire us every day.
