Grafton, New South Wales — October 6, 2025: Police are appealing for public assistance to locate 17-year-old Georgia, who has been reported missing from the Grafton area. The teenager was last seen around 11:00am on Friday, October 3, 2025, and authorities say concerns are growing for her welfare.

    What Happened

The Coffs-Clarence Police District has launched an urgent search for missing Grafton teenager Georgia, who has not been seen since Friday morning. She was last spotted in the Grafton area at approximately 11:00am, and officers have been working with local residents to gather information on her movements since then.

Authorities believe Georgia may still be in the Clarence Valley region and are appealing to anyone who may have seen her to come forward. Police say there are growing concerns for her safety given the length of time she has been missing.

    Who Is Georgia

Georgia, aged 17, is described as a bright and friendly young girl who is loved by her family and community. At the time she went missing, she was wearing blue denim shorts and a blue t-shirt, and she is also believed to be wearing glasses.

Family members and friends have shared messages online urging the public to keep an eye out, saying her disappearance is completely out of character. Local volunteers have also joined the search efforts, combing nearby parks, riversides, and neighbourhoods in hopes of finding her.

    Search Efforts and Community Involvement

Police and emergency services have been conducting extensive searches throughout Grafton and the surrounding areas, using both ground patrols and public appeals to gather leads. Officers are urging anyone who might have seen Georgia or has CCTV footage from Friday, October 3, to check for possible sightings.

Community members have been sharing Georgia’s photo across social media platforms, using the hashtags #FindGeorgia and #HelpBringHerHome, to raise awareness and encourage others in the Northern Rivers and Coffs-Clarence regions to stay alert.

    Public and Social Media Reactions

The missing person appeal for Georgia has drawn strong emotional responses online. Many residents have expressed sympathy for her family and pledged to help spread the word.

One Facebook user commented, “Please let’s all share this. Someone must have seen her somewhere. Hoping Georgia is safe and back home soon.” Others have been reposting the police appeal with captions like “Every share counts — let’s bring her home safely.”

Police Appeal and What Happens Next

In a statement, Coffs-Clarence Police District said:

“Georgia, aged 17, was last seen in Grafton at around 11:00am on Friday, October 3, 2025. She was wearing blue denim shorts, a blue t-shirt, and is believed to be wearing glasses. We urge anyone who may have seen her or knows anything about her whereabouts to contact police immediately.”

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Coffs-Clarence Police District or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Reports can also be made online via the Crime Stoppers NSW website.

Authorities continue to follow multiple lines of inquiry as the search for Georgia enters its third day.
