    Detective Sergeant Brett M. Marino, a dedicated 13-year veteran of the Phillipsburg Police Department, has tragically passed away after a courageous battle with illness. A respected figure in his community and within the department, Brett’s legacy of hard work, dedication to justice, and infectious personality will be remembered by all who knew him.

    A Dedicated Officer and Community Leader

    Brett Marino’s service in the Phillipsburg Police Department spanned over a decade, during which he worked tirelessly in the Special Operations Division, investigating narcotics and street crimes. His commitment to protecting and serving the people of Phillipsburg earned him the respect of his colleagues and the admiration of the community.

    Known for his exceptional skills and strong work ethic, Brett was more than just an officer—he was a pillar of support during times of crisis, always ready to lend a helping hand, offer a kind word, or brighten someone’s day with his infectious humor.
