Churchdown, UK – October 28, 2025-Authorities are urgently seeking help in locating James, a 47-year-old man from Churchdown, who was reported missing on Monday, October 27, after he failed to go to work, which is very unusual for him. It is believed that James may have driven to Betws-y-Coed in North Wales, where his whereabouts remain unknown.
What Happened
James’s family and colleagues have expressed concern for his welfare, as he is known to be an avid mountain climber, often enjoying his favourite climb at Tryfan in the Ogwen Valley in north Eryri (Snowdonia). His last known location is suspected to be when he left work on Sunday, October 26.

- Hair: Shaved head
- Distinguishing features: A couple of missing front teeth
- Clothing: Black waterproof trousers and glasses
James is believed to have been driving a white Vauxhall Combo van with the registration WP55VXR. Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying any sightings of James or his vehicle, particularly in or around the Betws-y-Coed area, where he is thought to have traveled.

Anyone who was in the Betws-y-Coed area yesterday (October 27) or today (October 28) and may have seen James or his white van is urged to contact Gloucestershire Police immediately.
