It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the death of Philip Joseph Immel, a beloved father, mentor, and friend, who passed away peacefully on November 12, 2025, at the age of 70. Phil’s life was a testament to dedication, generosity, and the power of resilience. His absence leaves a profound void in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him, but his legacy of love, leadership, and kindness will forever endure.

A Life Built on Determination and Success

Phil’s journey began in Chicago, Illinois, where he confronted early life challenges with unmatched bravery and resolve. From those formative years, he developed a steadfast belief in himself that propelled him toward personal and professional triumphs. A proud graduate of John Hersey High School, Creighton University, and San Diego State University, Phil valued education and self-improvement, serving as a living example of the importance of hard work and perseverance. His accomplishments have not only shaped his own life but have inspired countless others who looked up to him.

Phil’s Distinguished Career in Real Estate

As a leader in the real estate industry, Phil was a true pioneer. His career was marked by his time as Vice President at Coldwell Banker Real Estate Corporation before founding The Immel Team at Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty. Under his leadership as CEO, the team thrived, built on the values of integrity, hard work, and commitment to excellence. Phil’s ability to foster a collaborative and supportive environment allowed those around him to grow and succeed. His professional achievements, however, were only one part of his remarkable persona. Phil brought warmth, humor, and genuine care to every interaction, ensuring that everyone he encountered felt appreciated, seen, and valued.

    A Loving Father and Mentor

To his family, Phil was the embodiment of love, guidance, and support. As a father to Torie, Ryan, and Blake, Phil’s unwavering love and mentorship shaped their lives, providing them with the wisdom and encouragement to pursue their dreams. His love for his family extended beyond words, as he shared his humor, insight, and compassion in every moment they spent together. His role as a mentor to friends, colleagues, and many others was equally impactful. Phil was always there to lend a helping hand, offer advice, or simply listen with a compassionate heart.

    A Cornerstone of the Community

Beyond his professional success, Phil was a cornerstone of his community. His genuine spirit and infectious enthusiasm touched everyone he met, whether through his work or in his personal life. He was a person who inspired others to face challenges head-on, trust in themselves, and live life fully. Phil’s impact on those around him was immeasurable, as he shared his wisdom, kindness, and love without hesitation. He will be remembered not only for his career achievements but for the way he made others feel — valued, supported, and encouraged.

A Lasting Legacy of Love and Leadership

As the family and community come to terms with the loss of such a vibrant and cherished individual, we take comfort in the memories Phil has left behind. His influence will continue to resonate in the lives of his children, friends, and colleagues. The wisdom he shared, the joy he spread, and the love he gave will live on in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know him.

Phil Immel’s legacy is one of bravery, happiness, selflessness, and an unwavering dedication to those he loved. While we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the life he led, the difference he made, and the indelible mark he left on the world.

May he rest in eternal peace. His memory will forever inspire us to live with the same courage, kindness, and compassion that he demonstrated every day.
