It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeffrey Ray Honeycutt, who left us peacefully on November 20, 2025, at Claiborne Medical Center. Born on August 6, 1967, in Middlesboro, Kentucky, Jeff was 58 years old at the time of his passing. Raised in the beautiful hills of Middlesboro, Jeff was nurtured by a loving community that shaped his character and guided him throughout his life.

A Life of Faith, Service, and Integrity

Jeff’s life was marked by dedication, empathy, and a genuine appreciation for life’s simple pleasures. As a devoted member of Duncan Chapel Baptist Church, he found spiritual guidance and created lifelong friendships. His faith was a cornerstone of his character, influencing the kindness, patience, and humility he displayed in every aspect of his life.

Whether helping with church events, providing support to fellow congregants, or offering quiet encouragement, Jeff was the embodiment of service and selflessness, always giving of himself to others.

A Skilled Craftsman and Proud Business Owner

As the proud owner of Honeycutt Builders, Jeff dedicated his career to craftsmanship and construction. His work was more than just a job; it was a vocation that allowed him to build not only homes but lasting relationships with those he served. His commitment to quality, honesty, and integrity made him a trusted figure in the community, and his efforts left a tangible legacy in the homes and projects he completed.

To Jeff, each building project was a story, and he approached every task with meticulous care and the desire to help others feel safe and supported in the spaces he created. His contributions as a builder will be remembered fondly by the families whose lives were touched by his work.

A Passion for Music and Classic Cars

Beyond his professional life, Jeff had a deep love for music and classic automobiles. Music was a constant source of joy for him, whether he was sharing his favorite songs, playing uplifting melodies, or simply enjoying the rhythms that brought people together. His love for music was a means to bond with others, and his home was often filled with the sounds that reflected his warmth and spirit.

Jeff also had a lifelong passion for classic cars. He reveled in their artistry and history, often spending time at car exhibitions, working on his projects in the garage, and discussing models with fellow enthusiasts. This passion brought him great joy and relaxation, connecting him with others who shared his appreciation for the beauty of vintage automobiles.

    A Loving Family Man

Above all, Jeff was a family man who deeply cherished his loved ones. He is survived by his devoted wife, Carmen Honeycutt, who supported him through life’s challenges and joys. Together, they built a life full of love and shared memories. Jeff is also survived by his children: Daniel, Jesse, and Samantha, each of whom embodies his strength, compassion, and resilient spirit.

He was a proud grandfather whose heart was filled with joy whenever his grandchildren were near. He will also be deeply missed by his siblings and extended family, all of whom were blessed to know his dependable presence and unwavering love.

    A Lasting Legacy

Jeff’s life was a testament to the power of faith, integrity, and love. His legacy lives on through his family, his work, and the countless lives he touched with his kindness and generosity. Jeff’s memory will be lovingly cherished by his family, friends, and community, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Rest in peace, Jeff. Your impact on the world will never be forgotten.

Family and friends will be gathering to celebrate Jeff’s life and the lasting legacy he leaves behind.
