PHILADELPHIA, PA — A fast-moving house fire in the Strawberry Mansion section of Philadelphia claimed the life of a man on Friday evening and left a neighboring home uninhabitable, officials said. Tragically, once firefighters were able to push back the flames and search the interior, they found the body of a man, believed to be around 40 years old, at the top of the stairs on the second floor.
