Authorities in Québec City are urgently searching for Malek Abdoulbaki Abdoulrahim, a 31-year-old man who has been missing since the evening of Wednesday, December 10, 2025. Police say concerns are growing for his safety as days pass with no contact, especially given the harsh winter conditions.

Malek was last seen around 9:00 p.m. and has not been heard from since, prompting an active missing person investigation.

    What Happened

According to the Québec City Police Service (SPVQ), Malek Abdoulbaki Abdoulrahim was last observed heading out into the evening on December 10. Since that time, there has been no communication with family or friends, which officials say is out of character and deeply concerning.

Police have classified the situation as urgent, noting that Malek may be a vulnerable person and could be exposed to cold December temperatures. With more than 48 hours having passed, investigators say the risk to his well-being increases with every hour.

    Who Is Malek Abdoulbaki Abdoulrahim?

Malek Abdoulbaki Abdoulrahim is 31 years old, described as having a shorter build, standing about 5 feet 3 inches (1.60 meters) tall and weighing approximately 133 pounds (60 kg). He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Family members and authorities say his sudden disappearance has caused significant distress, and they are desperately hoping for information that can help bring him home safely.

    Description and Case Details

On the night he went missing, Malek was dressed entirely in black, which police say makes him harder to spot, especially at night. He was last seen wearing:

    • A black coat with a fur-lined hood
    • Black pants
    • Black shoes

Police warn that his dark clothing could cause him to blend into shadows, making it easy for passersby to overlook him. Investigators are asking residents to carefully check yards, garages, parked vehicles, and doorbell or security camera footage dating back to the night of December 10.

    Public and Community Reactions

Concern is spreading across Québec City as residents share Malek’s description and story online, hoping someone may recognize him or recall seeing a man matching his appearance. Many are expressing worry about the cold weather and urging others to stay alert while moving around the city.

Community members are being encouraged to share his information widely, as even a brief sighting could prove crucial.

Official Statements or What Happens Next

The SPVQ has opened an official missing person case (File: QUE-251210-00379) and is asking anyone with information to come forward immediately.

    • If you see Malek Abdoulbaki Abdoulrahim, call 911 right away.
    • Any tip, no matter how small, could help locate him.

Police stress that time is critical and that public assistance may be key to finding Malek before his situation worsens.

This story may be updated with more information as it becomes available.
