Academic and Athletic Achievements
Rob attended Strawberry Crest I.B. High School, where he quickly established himself as one of the top students. His academic achievements were extensive: he was a National Merit Scholar, a straight-A student, and a proud Eagle Scout. Beyond academics, Rob excelled in swimming, earning a sixth-place finish in the breaststroke at the Florida High School State Championships in 2019. Rob’s talents were not limited to academics and athletics. His deep passion for music led him to teach himself to play the piano, complementing his already impressive skills. This dedication to both learning and creativity was further reflected in his time at Duke University, where he graduated in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, a minor in Music, and a certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Career and Community Impact
In late 2023, Rob moved to San Francisco to co-found a tech startup. This move was a natural progression for someone of his drive and ambition, with the Bay Area’s vibrant tech scene offering the perfect environment for his innovative spirit. Though his time in San Francisco was tragically cut short, those who had the privilege of knowing him remember Rob as a bright, energetic presence, eager to tackle new challenges and make a meaningful impact.
