The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) responded to the crash on Tuesday, September 26, around 1:13 p.m. The accident took place on South Durango Drive, just south of West Warm Springs Road. According to reports from the LVMPD, a green Kawasaki motorcycle was traveling south on South Durango Drive at a high rate of speed when the crash occurred. At the same time, a 2015 Infiniti QX70 was traveling northbound on the same road, coming from the south of West Warm Springs Road.
The details of how the two vehicles collided remain under investigation, but the impact resulted in the motorcyclist sustaining life-threatening injuries. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene and transported the motorcyclist to a nearby hospital, where they remain in critical condition.
