The athletics community at Dakota Ridge High School is incredibly saddened to announce the passing of longtime athletic trainer Larry Franca. The precise reason of his death was unknown at the time of this announcement. Being a key component in Dakota Ridge’s founding when it first opened its doors in 1996, Larry was a founding member of the school. Before he retired, he made a significant impact on the lives of numerous students and staff members while serving with commitment and leadership.
The entire Eagle community was forever changed by Larry’s presence, and he made incalculable contributions to the school’s athletic program. All who were fortunate enough to know him will remember his warmth, knowledge, and steadfast support.
Dakota Ridge Athletics sends the Franca family its deepest sympathies at this trying time. The entire Eagle community honors the memory of a guy who was greatly loved and respected by so many, and stands with them in their loss.
