Investigators in Camden County are looking into a fatal hit-and-run that killed a 41-year-old woman. According to Grace C. MacAulay, the prosecutor for Camden County, the incident took place on Wednesday afternoon. At around 3:21 p.m. on Wednesday, Camden County police received reports of an automobile colliding with a pedestrian at the intersection of 7th and Tulip Streets.
Emergency personnel arrived quickly at the scene and transported the injured woman to Cooper University Hospital. Tragically, at 4:06 p.m., she was pronounced dead. Carla Mahan, a resident of Camden, has been identified as the victim.
